I’m convinced in the power of prayer! Are you? Jesus says in John 15:7 “If you abide in me, and my words in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. Of course the key word here is abide which means to remain in place, dwell or live. Essentially Jesus is saying remain with Me and My words.
Living within the will of God results in righteous prayers lifted up to the Lord. E.M. Bounds wrote “Four things let us ever keep in mind: God hears prayer, God heeds prayer, God answers prayer and God delivers by prayer”

Below you will find some of the prayer requests that were returned to me this week. Please join me in praying for these people.

Please pray for my nephew Asher. He is 6 months old and has recently had a very serious diagnosis. The doctors are watching him closely. My sister and her husband have to make the choice of what type of treatment to try for him. Please pray for strength for Asher, wisdom for the doctors and his parents, and peace for his parents. They are believers.

I am on an exchange program so need guidance regarding the appropriate course that correlates with my home university Honour’s degree as well as favour to get into the class, once it is chosen.

our first class is tonight

That the Lord and His Word will be glorified as I lead Lightning Studies with the Mom to Moms group monthly at Central and the Online Genesis PUP weekly.

That hearts will yearn more for His Word each day and that the participants will grow knowing the Lord deeper and desire to serve Him faithfully.

For my daughter Tammy and her health problems, for my mom who has dementia and my dad who has heart problems, for all those back in school and those teaching, also for God’s word to get out to those who do not know Him

I have 8 children. Six of them are walking with the Lord but Andrew, 22 will no longer attend church and is smoking and using drugs and Joel, 17, while still attending church with us, is smoking, using drugs, sneaking out at night occasionally and stealing money from us, also occasionally. I have given them both to the Lord as I know He knows what is best for them but my husband, Ray, is struggling with releasing them, especially the younger one. He keeps trying to come up with plans to help Joel but doesn’t want any other people or organizations to help. Please pray for peace, strength and wisdom for us and that God will do what needs to be done with our sons. I know He is the only one who can change hearts.

Thanks Mark! My prayer for my study buddies is based on “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it…..I would feed you with the finest of the wheat and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.” (Psalm 81: 10b, 16). Filled, fed and satisfied….what a great God we have that desires to do these things for us!! May we come with to His Word this study season with mouths open, ready and expecting Him to feed, fill and satisfy us with His truth!

I am the facilitator of a Tuesday Morning Precept Bible study. Please pray for our ladies’ study that God will bless our time together and we will grow stronger and stronger in Christ

Just letting you know our youth group (fair havens community church) will be starting “How to make choices you won’t regret” starting September 18th.

My ex-husband left our home 20 years ago, was there for the children very little (play daddy), no financial care whatsoever, lived outside the country for 7 years, now is causing the children (Josiah and Tracy) to have doubts about their stability at home. I put not only there physical, financial care as top priority, but mostly was concern with their relationship with our heavenly father. I just need strength to stand firm in my faith, Godly insight in our future, and whether we should be taking the route with legal advice.

Please pray for deliverance and healing from sickness.

Please pray for the relationship between my 13 year old adopted daughter (adopted at 2 yrs. from Ukraine) and my husband and I. It has been a challenge since day with attachment and anger issues. Thanks for praying! I believe in PRAYER!

I am burdened for a lady in our church who cannot seem to break free of strongholds in her life, thus keeping her dysfunctional in her role as sister in Christ, wife and mother. Please join me in praying that God would answer “exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.”

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. Ephesians 1:18-19
