Bea enjoys the challenge of developing and improving communications through editing and content strategy. Whether it’s blog articles, newsletters, or donor appeals, she loves making it easy for people to find the information they need and connect with the key message.

Bea studied rhetoric (“the art of persuasion”) and professional writing at the University of Waterloo and has worked at an educational publisher, a global wireless technology company, and a humanitarian relief organization. She likes to listen to podcasts and audiobooks, collecting a smattering of life-hacking tips, interesting facts, and useful stats that come in handy.

Although she grew up in a Bible-believing home, it wasn’t until university that Bea got serious about engaging with God’s Word for herself. A New Testament summer reading challenge made a life-changing impact on her relationship with Jesus.  When she joined an inductive Bible study as a new grad (Walking in Power, Love, and Discipline: 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus), it sparked an excitement for going deeper by studying the Bible inductively. Bea’s passion is to see more and more Christ followers learn to study truth for themselves, grow in intimacy with Jesus, and live radically devoted to their Saviour.
