WOW! This morning I’m looking at the wall in my office. On it I have a Bible verse that says, “Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever” (Eph. 3:20-21). God continues to open my eyes to the greatness of His power and to the beauty of His great name. Our God is Jehovah-Jireh.

In December, we sent an email letting everyone on our mailing list know that we were $48,000 short of meeting our 2015 financial goals. We asked everyone to prayerfully consider how they could partner with us in making a donation to the ministry. We needed to finish the year strong and propel the work into 2016, ready to establish 10,000 new people in God’s word this year.

In my mind this was a big request and I knew that God would have to work in the lives of those impacted by this ministry. God, our God, provided abundantly beyond what we asked for. Make no mistake friends: God is the One who provides, and He has done so for us again in 2015.

I urge you to join me in praising God for the blessings He has given this past year. He deserves our worship! He has answered our prayers and all the glory is His alone.

In 2015 we saw more than 5000 brand new people join in Bible Study, and we crossed the country training more people than in 10 years. The year saw many blessings and I’m so excited to share this with you.

The work continues
There is much work yet to be done in our country and I ask that you continue to pray for this ministry. As much as we celebrate what God is doing, we know that the majority of Canadians still need to know God and His Word. Friends, hear my heart in this: we will not rest in our pursuit of furthering the Kingdom of God, sharing the gospel, and establishing as many Canadians in God’s Word as He sends our way.

As we continue to grow, I encourage you to pray for our staff. They are a great team and all of them are taking on multiple roles to serve the country. We’re so excited to witness what God is doing, but our prayer is that we won’t be overwhelmed with all that is to be accomplished.

markFinally, prayerfully consider how you can continue to partner with us, whether through

  • financial support,
  • joining or starting a city or area team within the Precept Network, or
  • most importantly, finding new people to join your Bible study or by starting a new 40-Minute Bible Study in your community.

Thank you so much for all that you do to further God’s Kingdom in Canada. We believe that God has so much more for us in 2016. We can’t wait to see what will happen!

Serving Him,
Mark Sheldrake
