Those that know me, know that I’ve never really been a morning person. I like my sleep and I always “snooze” my alarm clock until the very last possible second. Can anyone else relate? 🙂

It hit me again today when we were in St. Catharines, that we need to check ourselves and see if we’ve become apathetic to Christ in our lives. I grew up in a wonderful Christian home with parents dedicated to serving God and I’ve gone to church all my life. As much as it seems like the ideal situation for having a blazing passion for God, I know there were times where I just went through the motions and didn’t intentionally seek out time to study the Bible.

On this tour, we’re hearing stories from people who were once so excited about Bible study, but then life happened and it started to feel like there just wasn’t enough time in the day anymore.   Have you ever felt that way? Have you ever thought, “If I just had a few more hours in the day, then I could have time to read my bible and study God’s Word”?

It’s such an easy mindset to get into and thats why I’m so thankful that God has opened up this opportunity to be apart of a ministry like Precept Ministries that’s dedicated to establishing people in God’s Word.

It’s crazy to think that this is only the 2nd stop on the tour and God’s already opening my eyes to these reminders that I’m sure a lot of us need. As we travel across Canada over the next couple of weeks there are going to be many more early mornings.  My hope is that every time I hear my alarm clock, it will be a gentle reminder to not forget to make time in the day for God’s Word.

To all those that came to Bethany Community Church in St. Catharines, thank you so much for joining us this morning and studying God’s Word together. We hope that you were encouraged and are excited about sharing God’s Word with those around you.

Next up…the LIVE Simulcast on Monday!
