(For Immediate Release)
December 5, 2012 (Brantford, ON) – Precept Ministries Inc. announced a transition in key management roles today as National Directors, Dr. Tom & Jane Hart, officially announced that the Board of Directors has appointed their successor, Mark Sheldrake. Mark will assume the role of National Director, January 1, 2013.
Mark’s desire is to faithfully continue building on the solid foundation God laid using Tom & Jane over the past 25 years to establish Canadians in God’s Word.
Since coming on staff six years ago, Mark has been groomed to assume the role of National Director when God’s perfect timing for the transition was made clear to the ministry’s Leadership. Precept’s Board of Directors and the Director of International Ministry in Chattanooga, Bob Vereen, have been working deliberately to prepare Mark and believe God will use him to guide Precept in Canada into a bright future. Mark will continue with Precept’s mission to establish people in God’s Word through Precept’s innovative and highly effective Inductive Bible Study Method. Tom and Jane believe the best days for Precept Ministries lie ahead.
Tom and Jane will remain on staff with the ministry, but in new positions. These new positions will allow them to use their gifts and bring greater support in the growth of the ministry through the new initiatives. Tom will take on ministry advancement and finance while Jane will focus on developing and establishing a new group of workshop trainers starting in January.

ABOUT PRECEPT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
Precept Ministries International was raised up by God for the sole purpose of establishing people in God’s Word to produce reverence for Him. It serves as an arm of the church without respect to denomination. God has enabled Precept to reach across denominational lines without compromising the truths of His inerrant Word. We believe every word of the Bible was inspired and given to man as all that is necessary for him to become mature and thoroughly equipped for every good work of life. This ministry does not seek to impose its doctrines on others, but rather to direct people to the Master Himself, who leads and guides by His Spirit into all truth through a systematic study of His Word.
Jack and Kay Arthur founded Precept Ministries International in 1970. Precept achieves its mission of establishing people in God’s Word by training millions of men, women, teens and children around the world to discover Truth for themselves using the Precept Inductive Bible Study Method. The Ministry hosts Bible Training Workshops, Bible Studies, annual Bible study tours to Israel and Bible-centered conferences. Precept ministers in 70 languages and nearly 150 countries establishing people in God’s Word.
Kay and Staff Writers produce Bible studies that meet a broad variety of needs for the Church, Bible study groups, disciple making and individual study.
