Thank you for the convicting message. Truthfully, I can look back and see moments when I denied the power of the Gospel and avoided some confrontation. I can also remember losing valued friends because of faith in Jesus. I am so very thankful that our Lord loved Peter, despite his shortcomings …Peter was ashamed but ultimately, Christ would redeem him and called him the “rock”
I love Paul because his testimony speaks to the very power of the risen Lord… From a Christian killer to a Christian lover!
I admire those who have never struggled with this particular issue! The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth and He also convicts us of sin… About two years ago, a friend told me Jesus could not be the only way to heaven because God was a loving God. It took me back a bit because this very same woman quoted Micah 6:8 as her life verse. Stunned, I did not say a word and retreated to the Bible. I had a personal conviction that this was the truth but I needed a much firmer foundation on which to base my faith.
Isaiah 43:10 clearly speaks to the fact that we may know, believe, and understand that I am He and in 43:11 He goes on to say that I am the LORD, and besides me there is no saviour.
Genuine believers in Jesus Christ cannot keep denying the truth and once that truth sets us free, we are called to share the truth in love.
As we all study 2 Timothy, my prayer is that we take 1Tim 1:5 to heart and share from a compassionate heart.

    Amen Nancy
Thank you for your faithfulness to His Word. It’s so much easier to be a personal of the world with no convictions on truth. This is why Jesus told His followers life would be tough for those who follow after Him.
